Breakfast at Comfi with InaMinute and Mom
My day started really early today! Mom woke me up at 5:00am for the sunrise. We met two of my friends and their moms at Belmar Beach. The sun wasn’t up yet when we got there so we played in the sand and took pictures. After the sun rose and we saw the beautiful pink sun and some dolphins swimming, we went on the playground and made tik toks. Then I started to become hungry! We made a plan to go to Comfi which opened at 8:00am. When we got there it wasn't open yet so when they opened the doors we were the first ones in!
The menu is so big and has a lot of options!! It wasn't hard for me to choose because as I read the description of one of their pancakes I was like “I'm getting this!” You're the one for me is four big pancakes covered in Oreos, peanut butter and chocolate.. MMMM. It felt like it took forever for the food to come out because I was so hungry. As soon as the plate was placed in front of me, my mouth was watering! I smelled the yummy pancakes and the sweet chocolate and couldn’t wait to dig in. There was so much powdered sugar and chocolate. The mix of all of the toppings and the pancakes together made me feel like I was in a little chocolate wonderland.
My mom ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon, spinach and onions on top of english muffins. She asked for the Hollandaise sauce on the side. Her potato fries were well done. I took a bite of her egg and thought it was so good. It reminded me of sunny side up eggs because I like mine runny. I thought the potatoes were really good, especially dipped in ketchup. I even tried them with the sauce and loved it too.
My plate still looked full when I finished my breakfast because the meal was so big. I wanted to try to finish it all but that wasn’t even close to happening! My sweet tooth loved this meal and would definitely order it again.
Our August “Beauty Foodie News, Mom and Me Breakfast” was so much fun. For dinner, I’m eating some of my delicious pancake leftovers!
