How Women Sports Can Unify America?

Today, we are confronting a United States divided...that's not the end...but just a new beginning. If you believe that history can teach us lessons about change (and transformation), and see ourselves as a united front (one people, one nation), then, anything is possible. Women Have United America in the past by role modeling positive values and virtues thru sports...and they can do it again.

A History of Making a Difference (Uniting America)

During World War II, when men went to fight and take arms; women went to work in factories, led families, and brought hope to fans thru Baseball. They supported the past time ideals that gave the nation a reason to cheer, love America, and root for athletic heroes (positive role models).

"The movie, 'A League of Their Own' is a fictional story based on the very real women's baseball league 'AAGPBL' that was started to keep the game alive during the Second World War, when many of the male players were enlisted to fight."

Values and Virtues That Exist in Women Sports Today

Passion + Purpose + Play
Regardless of the sport, Women love and have a passion for the game...whenever and wherever; they compete and play. Women in team sports exude camaraderie, commitment, competitiveness, creativity, discipline, fair play, follow thru, inner growth, leadership, openness (to change), playfulness, professionalism, respect/sportwomanship (for opponents, rules of game, their sport), service to the community (activist/role models on and off the field to younger athletes), strength (mind, body, and soul), and team work. All these are values that can transform lives, communities, and our beloved country too.
What Women Sports Really Need is Equality...equal access to a larger fan base that leads to equal pay and in turn they can have a greater impact on role modeling the positive values and virtues that can Heal, Ignite, and Unite America once again.

"On a personal note, I am biased, yes, I am a man who loves women sports, whenever there is a Women's World Cup...I make every attempt to attend (last time Lyon, France in 2019)...And when I attend the Olympics, I love watching women team sports...passionately competing, representing their country, and striving for excellence in their sport!"
