Is There Anything Left that is Sacred Enough Not to Televise?

Is There Anything Left that is Sacred Enough Not to Televise?
Reality shows have become a leading infection of our morality and thirst for more extreme ways to hurt and cause harm to each other. As adults, we can bear the responsibility of what is entertainment, and what is not. Unfortunately, kids cannot. They (kids) find clips online of episodes, or reality stars (talentholes for the most part) end up on TMZ glorifying their societal failures gloriously. Only to land on another reality show for recovering addicts.
Yes, there are some reality that inspire creativity (Project Runaway), role model positive values (Undercover Boss), and lasting relationships (The Amazing Race). But few and far between.
Who Do You Want to Be Remembered For?
A Cherokee Grandfather and Grandson together discuss the repercussions of who you want to be and show up in the world;

"the battle is between two 'wolves' inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good. It is joy, peace love, hope serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson though about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "which wolf wins?

The old Cherokee simply replied, the one that you feed."

If you consider at any moment, or day that this could be your last on Earth...you are right...Perhaps you would spend more time feeding your heart and mind positive thoughts and consume more TV programming that benefits your life...or not...your life is a choice to live with joy or pain.

What do you think?
