How Books and Looks Uses Her Talent for Good to Party for Good in Her Community?

"As co-captain of my field hockey team, I wanted to plan a party for the ten other seniors to celebrate our final season together after playing alongside each other for four years. I invited everyone to my house for an afternoon of food, music, and looking back on our favorite memories. I surprised each girl with a JAGS sweatshirt in her favorite color, ordered everyone their favorite Playa Bowl, and put together a photo and video montage with funny moments from all four years. We also made goodie bags for our underclassmen teammates and coaches, filling them with snacks, hair ribbons, and handmade beaded keychains with motivational words. I wanted us to have one last fun afternoon together while also doing something special for the teammates and coaches who made our final season so memorable."

Three girls who have worked on The Sweetest Gigs for more than 5 years have their own gig; "Girls Party for Good." Every season, Recruiting for Good sponsors a party designed by girls to make a positive impact in their community (family and friends).

"Books and Looks has completed more gigs than any other girl. She started when she was 11 years old, now she is 17; she is destined to be a CEO or world leader,” says Carlos Cymerman, Founder of Recruiting for Good and The Sweetest Gigs (Girls Design Tomorrow™). “With each gig, she leads with passion, purpose, and play!” Over the years, her extraordinary dedication has served as the blueprint for Recruiting for Good’s talent development programs, proving that when young people are given a platform to express their creativity, they develop the vital leadership skills necessary to shape the future."
