"In 2008, I was part of a nonprofit for men that taught leadership Mentor Discover Inspire; and every year they managed fundraising, and a sweet event feeding The Veterans in Westwood, CA. That year, I came up with a T-Shirt concept designed by kids (each kid made a drawing); and on the back of the T-Shirt I got sponsors to raise money for the event ($2,500). And Recruiting for Good, also sponsored the t-shirt production and donated 1000 Tees for the event. That super sweet experience changed my life for GOOD...and was the inspiration for This Tee is Good (The Sweetest Fashion Design Gig for Exceptionally Talented Girls)!"

Recruiting for Good, The Sweetest Gigs, and Girls Design Tomorrow
On the sweet fashion gig (inspired by 14 Year Old BooksandLooks); Recruiting for Good Founder, Carlos mentors and helps a girl design a Tee for a Cause. Once the design is done; Recruiting for Good sponsors 10 Tees to be printed and gifted to the girl (so she can share with family and friends). Tees are made of recycled fabric. The mentoring experience is perfectly designed for middle school girls.
