‘We Use Our Voice for Good’ is a meaningful one-year paid work gig for exceptionally talented 5th graders who aspire to do something remarkable with their life created by Recruiting for Good Founder Carlos Cymerman (Girls Design Tomorrow Methodology™)
This fun fulfilling labor intensive work of love teaches girls sweet skills, success habits, and positive values that prepares them for life.

This is the only training and development program preparing girls for a successful entry into the workforce early in life; "Land 1st Job" and never look back. We Use Our Voice for Good helps girls discover their passion, purpose, and play. Mentor and Mentee work collaboratively to create the perfect job that meets and exceeds the girl's expectations. Celebrate the achievements, hardships, and wins.

Girls become effective communicators, self-confident, creative leaders
Girls who successfully complete the one year gig; learn the necessary work values that will sustain and bring forth meaning to their future professional career (the trajectory to fulfillment and success intertwined). We teach girls how and why to celebrate the achievements, hardships, and wins.

The program is funded by Recruiting for Good to deliver a personalized experience to each girl (the work program is for 10 girls each year)
Girls on the gig are assigned a mom mentor that will help guide them; work on meaningful writing assignments to create aspiring content for the community. Girls earn gift cards and donations for their favorite cause; "because no one works for FREE...but some of us our lucky to work for GOOD!"
At the end of 12 months, Recruiting for Good sponsors an article written by the girl to be published on LAParent.com (check out article published on LA Parent.com written by exceptionally talented 13 year old Books and Looks)

Susan Love Loughmiller has been a longtime activist in Santa Monica and surrounding Westside Los Angeles communities. She was an award-winning journalist for 20-plus years at major metropolitan newspapers around the country until the birth of her amazing daughter, Matilda, whom she parented singly while working fulltime in the nonprofit community including at Loyola Marymount University, United Cerebral Palsy, the Jewish Federation, and as executive director of a mindfulness organization. She is the recipient of the Communitas Award in Santa Monica for her lifelong body of volunteer work. She has been a credited editor on several books and participated in poetry readings and events throughout L.A. She lives in Olympia, Washington, near her daughter and son-in-law, and outside of work she enjoys design, reading and editing, birding, whale watching, singing, playing drums, and being a Mom.
