3 Easy Steps to Travel More Often
Blog inspired by Linnea M. Duvall, Marriage and Family therapist reminding me how important it is to teach what you learn. Not everyone is an expert (enrollment through inspiration), some people need reminders, and talking about it keeps it fresh...we all have an opportunity to make a difference in other people's lives...everyday.
If you are tired of wishing you were traveling; raise your game, expect more of yourself, and commit. We all have family, and friends who talk about travel like it will magically happen if they talk about it enough. If you are a Good friend, just tell them to stop..."Stop torturing yourself with the story and belief system that just simply talking about travel it will magically occur." Everyday wishing will never turn into results... only action will.
"Insanity: is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome." Albert Einstein.
So Here are the 3 Easy Steps to Travel More Often...
Step 1 Belief
You must believe in a world where everyone is worthy of seeing and traveling the world...start with a question to yourself..."Where do I see myself being in the next 12 months?" Only when you can visualize yourself in that place and belief it can really occur, then you can move to step two. Just like athletes who meditate and visualize themselves finishing the race first; you too can visualize yourself traveling, and re-enact yourself traveling in a foreign land. The more you believe in your heart and see yourself traveling, the more it will naturally and universally occur to you. People close to you will be attracted by your magnetic energy, and will inquire about your re-ignited passion and energy.
Step 2 Enrollment
Create a vision board or talk to a travel professional or travel company to lay out exactly what you like to occur on your trip. The more detailed the trip; the more real it will become.
Your vision is only as powerful as the belief that you can lead and inspire others to follow in your footsteps and also see the world for good. When you can speak freely from your heart to your family and friends and tell them why you must go and the conversation moves away from sounding like a sale to sounding like inspiration (you are ready to proceed to step 3). By this time you are emotionally vested...and when you do it with your community (family, friends, either or both). There is strength in numbers, you are all in; unstoppable.
Step 3 Execution
Put a deposit down. Yes even a small deposit will support your passion and vision. "You are going no matter what." Even pay it off every month... And if you do it in a group, well you all start to support each other; value the journey of accomplishing this together. The process will bond and transform your relationships forever.

Quick Review

  1. Ask yourself and your community, "what destination you always wanted to accomplish that would change your life for good?" The Why
  2. Recruiting for Good will help your group find the right tour or travel professional to design your trip. The What

Start Today and See the World for Good
One added value proposition, when you complete your travel...you learned how to lead, inspire, and enroll a community of your friends (or family) to see the world. You can take these skills to any other aspect of your life; your personal relationships, to start community projects, or start a new business enterprise (you will have the basics down Why, What, and How?) BTW, if you can teach enrollment through inspiration; you can change the world one person at a time.
