My Dream Job…Finding David a Great Job at Virgin Galactic

I am a technical recruiter, I help companies find professional talent to make business better. Over the last 19 years, I have helped over 1000 people find great jobs. My life's dream has always been to work with Virgin; I love companies that create products and services that make life better for all.
Four Weeks Ago My Dream Came True
Virgin Galactic reached out to me to help them find a principal software engineer who would build their next generation space technology. And without hesitation, I jumped right in, excited to fulfill my life's long dream, I worked 16 hour days for a week and a half. In that time, I found a number of very qualified candidates. Included a candidate named David. We talked about the importance of working on technology that will change people's lives; and we bonded. He had a phone interview that lasted 20 minutes, and Virgin flew out the next day for an in person interview.
At the end of the day, I found out Virgin Galactic was hiring David...he was driving to the airport, and I called his wife on the east coast to inform her that her husband got the job. We both jumped for joy. Then, I talked to David, when he was just about to board the plane. It was one of the best days of my life. David and I will be life long friends....
I am grateful to have had the chance to get David a job that will change his life for good, and to help Virgin Galactic find a new employee that will develop tomorrow's most amazing technology.
