Prefer someone who already lives in Florida, will consider candidates who want to relocate to Florida from any state in the US.
This role involves communicating with clients and the data architect to understand the requirements, researching legacy code, building user interfaces for auto-generation of ETL, building data integration solutions, performing unit testing, modifying existing SSRS Reports and building Power BI data models.
Essential Job Duties:
- BI Data Integration Engineer is responsible for building, implementing and supporting Microsoft BI solutions.
- Design and development of ETL processes using SSIS, TSQL, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, PowerApps, and other tools to populate dimensional models for consumption in Power BI and other reporting solutions
- Creating complex stored procedures for set based logic
- Building Data Virtualization solutions for real time scenarios
- Use Power BI to integrate data, create data models and create efficient calculated columns
- Designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses
- Extensive knowledge of database architecture and TSQL
- Database design and development with SSIS, SSAS, SSRS
- Assisting developers with SQL queries and optimization
- Develop auto-generation of SSIS packages and T-SQL ETL layers
- Create and maintain CI/CD integration in either github or Azure DevOps
Required Skills:
- Expert level creating custom T-SQL Stored Procedures with complex logic
- Advanced level creating SSIS packages with complex logic
- Strong User Interface developer in JavaScript, Angular and Electron
- Web API development
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) frameworks using SSIS and Stored Procedures, etc
- Experience with Power BI Performing Data Integration and Developing Dashboards
- Power BI Service & Power BI Desktop Expertise in development of reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, aggregating data from multiple sources
Required Experience:
- 5+ years building User Interfaces in Angular & Electron and web APIs
- CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub actions
- Strong Object-Oriented Development fundamentals and expertise
- Experience with Design Patterns and Coding Best Practices
