How Sports Can Instill the Values Needed Today?
In life you get what you give...in sports it shows up all the time...
Have you seen 5 year olds play baseball, basketball, or soccer? Everyone is playing for each other, with passionate enthusiasm to be something greater than themselves. The playing field is level there is no ethnicity differentiation, no gender bias, no income gap issues, and no political/religious affiliations. Everyone is playing with the same positive purpose.
Imagine, if we could bottle (kids' energy and play) within us and carried it throughout are lives...wherever we go.
Life is the total sum of your experiences...make them fun and fulfilling; then, they will be positive. It's up to the individual players, their families, mentors (coaches), and anyone who can fill in the gaps to create a more certain outcome.
Life is a marathon, not a 100 yard dash...consistency and follow thru are the building blocks to instill the positive values over time.
What I Love Most about Sports? Sports Loves All
It is one of the first experiences where kids (outside of home and school and in the community); discover their talent, feel good about having something to contribute, and being something greater than themselves (it fulfills them).
Kids have fun for good.
Get your kids to participate early...even for one season...because Sports Loves All.
