How Life Teaches Us
..How to Be The Best Version of Ourselves...
“Before I started Recruiting for Good, I worked as a contract recruiter. While being represented by an agency, we had agreed on an hourly rate. Just before my 5th (and final) interview with the company, the agency called and said they could only pay me $5 dollars less (than we had agreed), I was livid. Driving from Santa Monica to Simi Valley everyday it pissed me off. After the interview, the VP of HR offered me the job. I called the agency, and told them I wasn’t taking the job.”
Inspired to Be Different...
“When I started my staffing agency, Recruiting for Good I vowed to never grind someone down. I’ve always been an advocate for talented professionals to get paid the best salaries. Because in the end, professionals who land the job…on Monday morning and thereafter…they are the ones carrying on…doing the work; making companies more efficient, productive, and successful.”
As a candidate in this job market, I think it is important to work with recruiters who appreciate, and respect you. You are entrusting your livelihood on your representation. Before moving forward with a recruiter, find out if they share your values. And make sure to always get an email confirming your salary/hourly rate pay before being submitted. That way there is a record to fall back on.
