Friday is a Good Day to Learn Responsibility...Work Skills for Kids
I am so grateful to be in a creative space, brought back The Sweetest Gig, and Julia from Kidazzler inspired me to teach the work skills that kids need to succeed in the workforce.
Valuable habits, principles, and skills can be applied to every part of your life.
The one I love most is "I am Responsible."
If kids accept responsibility for decisions, and actions; something within triggers a thought process, "do I want to do this, should I do this, is this good for me, are my parents going to approve?"
I am Responsible to do the best job possible at school, at home and in the community, or on The Sweetest Gig (kids instantly grow within, with just one thought...I am Responsible).
I am Responsible for my success; leads to making decisions, and taking actions...furthering a strategy for winning. And if done enough times, kids can learn what is their secret formula (for winning with responsibility, they learn how to lead their life) that inspires them to feel good about their accomplishments and make their parents proud.
I am Responsible gives kids a standing in the world, and power to achieve anything they desire (and that is success at work, and life).
"Kids are responsible for themselves...and that is hard enough...parents can be responsible for their kids, and themselves. If as a parent, you have done a good job taking care of your kids...they will be responsible to take care of you...start with I am Responsible Today."
