The US Open is a feel-good athletic event. While tennis is the main focus on the court, there's the vibes of fans trying to play the part happening everywhere else. And fans who are athletes themselves are no exception!
Ally Love, a Peloton fitness instructor who began her career as a dancer for the New York Knicks, wore a tennis ball yellow flowy chiffon maxi dress from Alice & Olivia that showcased her toned arms! I love that her outfit coordinated with the sport, and that she connected with the United States Tennis Association Foundation, which helps make tennis accessible to the youth. It's Love-Love for this look!
Standing strong at 80 years young, Billie Jean King, a former world number one tennis player, is still showing that she has what it takes! Dressed in a very clean look of a classic black shirt, pants, belt and pearl necklace, she's been seen with different color long sleeve open blazers and button down shirts. To show her youthful and fun side, her glasses coordinate with her color of the day. She's been acing the fashion this week.
Ballet dancer, Misty Copeland, attended the Opening Night Gala of the US Open wearing a Dolce & Gabbana mini crepe and satin dress. Misty accessorized with a Valentino Garavani VLOGO Chain embellished leather clutch that she opted to hold instead of using the shoulder strap.
With her long dancer's legs looking even more toned in her black open-toed stiletto sandals, Misty was certainly on pointe.
Fresh off her Olympic gold medal win, soccer star Crystal Dunn, wore a sporty casual look to the games. Even off the soccer field, Crystal is showing off the Nike swoosh (along with her biceps) in a white Nike sleeveless tank, orange cardigan and a fun fruit print skirt. She switched up her cleats for tennis white(s) sneakers!
And, the coolest sunglasses, spotted at the courts? Zoey Deutch in her Velvet Canyon "The Noughties", timeless black frames with gold toned stainless steel detailing. Vera Wang in her oversized cat eye lenses, Anna Wintour in her signature iconic black shades, Katie Couric in round Ray Bans, and Melissa Gorga in white frames that coordinated with her whimsical Dolce & Gabbana polka dot dress.
The US Open has become a trendy sporting event thanks to celebrities who are having fun in the sun. While they all want to watch exciting matches, what they really...want is to look good while watching.
