I attended the first women's world cup. It was held in Pasadena, California. In scorching heat the US outlasted China in penalty kicks. And since then, I have seen dozens of World Cup and Olympic women soccer games. The women play hard competitive ball. They are rockstars, and are great role models for girls around the world.
