Mrs. Pescatore is around kids a lot because of her job. She’s been an educator for many years. When she was younger she even helped her mom with being a teacher and counselor. She loves working with kids of all ages from preschool to high school. When she was a teenager she was a camp counselor and then she volunteered as a teacher’s helper at her temple. While she was in college she worked at a temple as a teacher. She also liked being a Girl Scout and helping as a troop leader. After she worked with Americorps she decided to get her Master’s degree in Elementary Education.

Mrs. Pescatore is caring, nice and helpful. It makes her feel good when a student shares good news with her. She likes to hear about what's going on in a student's world and what is important to them. It makes her happy when a student succeeds at something. She gives her time to students who are uncomfortable, nervous or anxious, and tries to talk them through it. She is very supportive and tells students to believe in themselves and try their best.

Mrs. Pescatore likes her job because she likes to connect with students and families.

She thinks it is special to watch kids grow up and learn Hebrew and then go on the bema and become Jewish adults. Mrs. Pescatore also likes to be creative for holiday activities. She loves mentoring teenagers to help them be good assistants for teachers.
