When I turned 40, on my birthday, I went to the Summer Olympics in Beijing. I will never forget the experience. In fact the conversation comes up quite often, that was the year, I accomplished my bucket list for travel. The saddest part of the story, is I celebrated my birthday by myself; I did not share the experience with family or friends. In 2012, I was very fortunate to be in a relationship with a fantastic girlfriend, and we traveled to the Summer Olympics in London. This shared experience and celebration destination was one of my most rewarding trips.
And perhaps that personal experience is what inspired me to create a travel funding service for people who love to share travel; We Travel for Good.
